Founded in 1984 by Mark Moore, Mark Moore Productions is backed by 26 years of experience in the music industry.
Mark Moore received his music education from the Interlochen Arts Academy and Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan, the University of Miami in Miami, Florida, The University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, and The University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Mark Moore has studied with Ella Bear Baker, Jim Milne, Doy Baker, Rosalina Sackstein, Vince Lawrence Maggio, Bob Washut, Peggy Erwin, Marvin Thostenson, Mike Metheny, John Hanneman, John Peterson, Bob Shomper, and Bill Luckenbill.
Mark Moore is a four-time winner of Downbeat Magazine's Student Recording Awards, winner of Pianist Of The Year with the Songwriter's Showcase of America, featured composer/performer in the NAJE Chicago Convention , runner-up in the NAJE composition contest, winner of West Music's Recording Arts Award. in 2008, Mark Moore was also a recipient of MusicCares Foundation Grant (MusicCares Foundation is a division of the Grammy Awards and NARAS), Mark is honored for his work with the Windermere Union Church in Windermere, Florida and Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church in Orlando, Fl. Mark was named "Teacher Of The Day" by the Orlando Sentinel and Orlando Public Schools for his piano teaching in Windermere, Florida.

Presently, Mark is living in Burlington, Iowa and performing in area venues, mainly retirement homes. Performances range from local restaurants and wineries, to retirement homes in the midwestern region. Rhonda and Mark are working at coordinating efforts to launch her children's book: "Serinah And The Butterfly" with Mark hoping to score music to it, and also begin a series of motivational marketing tools by Rhonda's new company, "Life's Pathways". Future projects of Mark are a Lutheran Hymns CD, in conjunction with Mark Matthews of Australia; a Grammy submitted jazz CD for 2012, and a train theme CD.
Mark is launching his home studio after a move from Florida, and hopes to do many projects with it. Presently Mark and Rhonda are marketing their CD's / Books in local stores, with Rhonda venturing out to libraries and book stores to do book signings. Mark is also donating CD's to libraries and hopes to do workshops and performances this way as well.
Mark has been performing locally and regionally at: Burlington Art Guild, Ft. Madison Art Guild, Martini's Restaurant, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Asbury Methodist Church, First United Church of Christ in Muscatine, South Hill Days Event, and retirement homes which are listed on Bookings page.
Still in the dreaming stage is to farm organically on his family farm, supplementing his musical income and to actually subsist in farming as has been done in Iowa for years. The trend is returning for this, with farmer's markets becoming very popular again in Iowa.
#3003 CB&Q steam engine at the Burlington, Iowa depot has been repainted from an essay Mark wrote and submitted to the Pepsi Challenge essay contest. He won $2500 which he donated $1200 to the repainting of the engine this summer. He also hopes to step in and help with renovating the Burlington depot..
In his spare time, Mark enjoys history, railroad history and railroading, gardening, fishing, aquarium hobby, photography, community involvment, movies, home projects, and spending time with Rhonda.
